A TabletSecure inspection enables the surface inspection of tablets and capsules from all sides. By taking multiple images of the rotating products, product mix-ups, quality defects, and broken tablets or capsules can be detected.
TabletSecure 360° is an automated roller-belt system for inspecting individual tablets and capsules. Defective or incorrect products are automatically rejected and rechecked.
What is TabletSecure 360°?
TabletSecure 360° is a fully automated inspection machine for all-round inspection of tablets and capsules. The automated roll-belt system ensures that the products rotate during inspection.
Through multiple images, all sides of the products are inspected and evaluated according to adjustable criteria. This allows product mix-ups, quality defects, as well as broken, deformed, or dimensionally incorrect tablets and capsules to be detected.
TabletSecure 360° is suitable for round tablets, oblong products, hard capsules, and softgel capsules. Non-rotationally symmetrical products can also be processed.
How does TabletSecure 360° detect defective tablets and capsules?
TabletSecure 360° evaluates the rotating products according to adjustable criteria. The inspection features include, among others:
- Color changes and spots – dark or light discolorations
- Chipping – for example, on coatings of a different color
- Minor breakages and cracks – visible damage to tablets or capsules
- Dimensions – inspection of length, width, and surface area
Faulty or incorrect products are automatically rejected and counter-checked.
